With only three more class periods of the semester, The Standard’s mobile app is near completion.
We’re at a standstill with the iPhone/iOS sector of The Standard mobile app. We’re still trying to figure out why the Opinion REED feed is having “issues” with reading the feed. Aside from that, we’re close to completing the iOS portion of the app.
The Android sector of the app is now pulling in feeds. Unlike the iPhone/iPad iOS, there is no definite specs for resolution sizes across Android devices, so we’re determiniing how to address that. It may be that we’ll need to wait to prototype the app on our Android device.
